Dit ga je doen

Learn how to work on cooling systems that use an F‑gassen or a hydrocarbon such as propane or isobutane. This course prepares you thoroughly for the F-gassen A1 certificaat exam. Once you obtain this certificate, you are qualified to work safely on installations with flammable substances, regardless of the volume. Under the new F‑gassen regulations, you may carry out these activities for seven years. This course does not include the exam. Book the nationally recognised exam separately via PBNA, STEK of STE.

If you choose an A1 or A2 certificate now, you immediately benefit from a seven‑year validity period.


  • Properties of cooling substances
  • Working procedures: TRA, LMRA, ATEX, PBM's 
  • Working safely, performing various tasks, conducting inspections, and adjusting components

To successfully follow and complete this course, you need extensive knowledge of cooling technology:

  • Solid theoretical knowledge of the cooling cycle and the h‑log‑p diagram
  • MBO‑3 level working and thinking skills


Afronding en resultaat

You will complete both a practical and a theoretical exam. With a positive final result, you will receive a BRL‑200 personal certificate.

  • Nationally recognised exam via PBNA, STEK, or STE
  • The certificate is valid for a maximum of 7 years
