Learn how to perform various repairs, maintenance tasks, measurements, and inspections on explosion-proof installations in real-life situations.

Are you the (up-and-coming) all-round professional in the field of explosion safety? The ATEX for Technicians course is designed for anyone involved in installing, repairing, maintaining, testing, and inspecting (complex) electrical installations in hazardous (explosive) environments.

This course includes both the theoretical and practical examinations administered by PBNA.

The course consists of theory and practical training spread over five days and is based on the learning objectives and assessment criteria of IECEx 05 modules Ex 001, 003, 004, 006, 007, and 008.

  • ATEX 114 and 153 legislation
  • Installation of equipment and wiring systems
  • Performing various inspections

To successfully attend and complete this course, the following basic skills are required:

  • Electrical engineering education
  • Minimum MBO-2 (intermediate vocational) thinking and working level

Afronding en resultaat

The course concludes with an examination administered by PBNA. Upon successful completion, you will receive a company-recognized diploma.
